Mastectomy or female-to-male (FTM) or female-to-nonbinary (FTN) chest surgery involves the removal of breast tissue and any excess skin to achieve a flat, masculine chest.

Periareolar technique: it is indicated for small breasts with good skin. It consists of making an incision under the lower edge of the areola. This technique allows for minimal scarring.
Hemiperiareolar technique: this technique is indicated for moderate/small sized breasts with good skin. Two circular incisions are made, one on the outside of the areola and the other along the edge or inside, this will depend on the size of the breast. The breast tissue is removed, excess skin is removed, and the areola is placed.
Double incision: when the breasts are large or saggy enough. An incision is made in the lower part of the pectoral muscle, excess skin and breast tissue are removed. Another incision is then made around the areola to remove and reposition it. This will give the chest a more masculine look.
Single scar: in the case of voluminous breasts very close to the midline, a single horizontal scar is created, obtaining a lifting of the entire thoracic area. The result is very beautiful and precise.
After the surgery, you will have to spend one night in the clinic and the next morning the Doctor will do a consultation to check that everything went well.

Hospitalization is only 1 day and post-operative recovery is about 1/2 weeks.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts from 2 to 3 hours and the final results are obtained.
